Every program, supplement claim, and piece of gear reviewed on The Fit Forty goes through the same process, built for women over 40 who are tired of miracle promises. This page is exactly how we work, including what we do not do.
What we analyze
- Content and depth: what a product actually covers and whether it is practical for everyday readers.
- Independent customer feedback: third-party reviews, ratings, and reported experiences across many buyers.
- Value for money: price against depth, bonuses, and guarantee terms, compared to alternatives.
- Credibility: the maker's track record and whether claims are backed by anything verifiable.
- Menopause-awareness: whether a program acknowledges the physiology of 40+ women (muscle loss, recovery, protein needs) or pretends it away.
Where our numbers come from
Numbers in our articles come from the sources cited in each article (studies, official guidance, vendor pages and public data) or from the free tools on this site, which any reader can rerun with the same inputs. Every cited source is listed under Sources & References.
What we never claim
Unless an article explicitly says otherwise, our reviews are based on structured analysis of publicly available information and independent customer feedback, not hands-on personal testing of every product. We never invent test results, before/after numbers, or personal anecdotes. If we ran it, you will see a labeled data log in the article; if we did not, we say so.
Who writes this and how we use AI
The Fit Forty is an independent, reader-supported site.
